As an emerging Canadian artist, I am forever inspired by the quiet strength and beauty of the Arctic. My work focuses on a collection of hand-drawn art cards that celebrate northern wildlife–capturing diverse animals not just as subject, but as symbols of resilience, adaptation, and the delicate balance of their ecosystems.
Through fine linework and attention to minute detail, I aim to create pieces that feel both intimate and timeless. Each drawing invites a closer look, reflecting my respect for the natural world and its stories.
This collection marks my first steps in sharing my artistic vision–rooted in nature and shaped by lived experience of Arctic life.

Contemplating the endless view of these wild, uninhabited northern landscapes—so simple, so raw—we feel a quiet stillness settle within us. Here, in this immensity, the instinctive animals that endure remind us of life in its most essential form. Hotchy

In regions of such rich biodiversity, many species remain elusive, rarely encountered. But when one does appear—and meets your gaze—something ancient stirs. In that silent exchange, separation dissolves, and we stand within the same living world, sharing in a wordless awareness. Hotchy
